Tasman KB is family owned Australian business of 2 generations originating in 1985 to its now current form. When in early 2000, the McAndrew family took over the business from the founding owner ‘Bob Frost’. The business now successfully operates throughout the entire Eastern Seaboard of Australia from its head office in Belrose (Northern Beaches) Sydney with warehouses & offices in St.Mary’s NSW (servicing the ACT and NSW markets), Acacia Ridge QLD and Campbellfield VIC (servicing Tasmania & Victoria).



Tasman KB is one of largest importers of New Zealand Radiata, Treated and H3 Pre Primed Pine, as in lies the name Tasman – which personifies the strong relationship between Australia and New Zealand with the Tasman Sea. New Zealand is a country a head of its times with environmental conservativeness and protection taking a front line approach well before the rest of the world considered it viable. So much so, the supply of Plantation grown resource from New Zealand is all but assured on harvesting cycle of 25 to 30 years. The vigorous replanting and forest management ensures the ongoing sustainability of the industry and supply.
