Some guests enjoyed a scenic but challenging walk to the lookout, while others took advantage of the cold beverages on the sand.

The following day was kickstarted with a cruise to Whitehaven Beach, a 7km stretch of pristine bright white sand where guests enjoyed a swim in the clear water, some even opting to swim the 100m from the boat to the shore. Some guests enjoyed a scenic but challenging walk to the lookout, while others took advantage of the cold beverages on the sand.

That evening we held a food festival dinner at Outrigger offering a great selection of fresh seafood, paella, spit-roasted lamb, rare roasted beef with all the trimmings, and a nice selection of desserts and cocktails! Live entertainment was provided by local and very talented artist Nick di Gregario.

Guests had the chance to choose an activity to participate in on their last full day on the island: a Jetski Tour, Fishing trip, or ATV Tour. All activities were thoroughly enjoyed by all.

The trip concluded with a fiesta at Mexican Restaurant Tako – decked out in colourful Mexican decorations, a mariachi band and a poncho and sombrero were provided for each guest and fully embraced. A great fun night complete with Mexican cocktails was the perfect end to a wonderful trip away with an incredible group. We sincerely thank all who attended and especially thank our sponsoring suppliers who made this trip possible: Allegion, Bradford, Corinthian, Hume, Hyne Timber, Knauf. Laminex, Paslode and TasmanKB.

How good is this!? Words heard frequently over the 4-night trip to Hamilton Island with 63 suppliers, members, their staff and builder customers.
